Two conversations. Two very different worlds. One powerful reminder: leadership is about momentum — and the courage to keep moving, even when the path ahead is complex.

I’ve also been thinking about leadership from outside our sector. One standout moment from AREC this year was hearing hospitality icon Will Guidara speak. He didn’t build one of the world’s best restaurants through perfectionism, but by placing radical hospitality and people at the centre of everything.

And while we’re on the topic of leadership, I recently had the pleasure of speaking with award-winning leadership coach Tanja Lee on my Future Fit podcast, Spotlight Series – and the conversation was truly enlightening.
