REIP – Inside Real Estate September 28, 2022

First off, a huge congratulations to Geelong for their win at the AFL grand final! Seeing Joel Selwood run out with Gary Ablett’s young son and later celebrate with the Cat’s waterboy Sammy Moorfoot was an awesome display of leadership from the heart and a testament to the powerful combination of talent and teamwork. 

Anyone who knows me knows that I’m passionate about collaboration and determined to work with the industry to ensure great outcomes for all.
 
This is why REIP recently joined Proptech BNE to host a roundtable and bring together property management representatives from across the country to have a candid and open discussion about overcoming some of the tech issues we’re currently facing. 
 
During this session we were able to identify pain points from the proptech industry and discuss strategies for the adoption of tech by property managers. With better collaboration, I firmly believe there is potential for better tech, better relationships, better services and better engagement in the long term. 
 
We’ll be reconvening in the final quarter of 2022 to maintain engagement between proptech providers and property managers and discuss progress on the pain points identified. Watch this space!
 
Finally, the recent Optus data leak is another reminder of how important it is to be sure our own data services are secure and in the hands of the right people. That’s why REIP has its own cyber insurance, rigorously vets our partners’ security frameworks and have partnered with Valocity to ensure REIP Nexus is ironclad against potential data breaches.
